Turley: "If you impeach the President.... if you make a crime of the President going to the courts.... you are doing exactly what you are accusing him of...."
QuoteKimberley Strassel @KimStrassel · 2m 1) Still waiting for my fellow members of the media to express their deep outrage and alarm that Intelligence Chair Schiff snooped thru and published phone records of a member of the free press. The silence is deafening.
We will never again be truly FREE people for so long as we continue to abide the Marxist Income Tax Code and the IRS!
QuoteDaniel Baranowski @DFBHarvard · 14m After 30 years of walking the Halls of Academia, I have never witnessed such academic dishonesty & malpractice as I've watched in today's hearings.
These 3 Democrat "scholars" are total partisan hacks today!
Indeed they are.
We will never again be truly FREE people for so long as we continue to abide the Marxist Income Tax Code and the IRS!
Very important: Turley points out that all that has been presented by the Majority are theories (Lawfare theories to be exact) about crimes.... none of which is supported by the actual case law about these "crimes"
I can't say how pleasing it is to see how well prepared both Turley and the Minority (Collins and Taylor) are....
Minority time expires.... Chairs notes "this would have been the time that the WH could have questioned these witnesses"
Nadler starts the 5 minute Member round with his questions.... starts with Feldman....
Also have to make a qualitative comment: Turley offers a stark contrast to the other 3 witnesses.... he actually showed warmth, humanity, and a profound sense and commitment to Fairness....
Looks like they are filing back in.... supposed to resume at 2:30 Eastern...
I think we have 39 Members * 5 minutes = 195 minutes of clock time remaining.... not sure how long that will play out in actual elapsed time.... at least 3.5 to 4 hours I assume....
QuoteAlan Dershowitz @AlanDersh · 18m Why didn’t the my friend and former student Norm Eisen cross examine Turley instead of throwing softballs at the Democratic witnesses?
Joel B. Pollak @joelpollak · 4m If Congress repeated the third article of the Nixon impeachment, i.e. obstruction of Congress, "you would be replicating one of the worst articles written on impeachment ... President Trump has gone to the courts. He's allowed to do that." Jonathan Turley,
