Can we trust China about the coronavirus?

If you listened to Chinese state-run media, you'd think President Trump went to China and released vials of COVID-19 on groups of unsuspecting men, women and children.

Beijing has been bending over backward trying to convince the world that the United States is the real culprit behind the quickly spreading virus that's already claimed more than 4,600 lives across the globe.

Louisiana has postponed its presidential primaries set for next month, becoming the first state to take the step as fears about the coronavirus outbreak spread.

The state will push back its nominating contests to June 20 and July 25, a spokesman for the Louisiana secretary of state told CNBC on Friday.

Gov. Greg Abbott will declare that the new coronavirus is a statewide public health disaster and announce the availability of drive-through testing capabilities in San Antonio today at a press conference, according to two lawmakers who were briefed Friday morning by the governor.
